Why the title IL Mare? It is a Korean movie that is about two people who lives two years apart in time, however they are able to communicate through a mysterious post box and they begin to form a friendship through their letters.

The plot might sound silly but this movie shows raw emotions that is hard to find in Hollywood movies. IL Mare is beautiful yet enigmatic and the cinematography is just brilliant. If you want to be swept up in a time-transcending love story that leaves you breathless, watch Il Mare.

[After watching this movie I realized that ending a relationship is not painful. It is painful when the love still continues even though the love has already ended.]

Hello forsaken blog! Sorry I keep on disappearing. I will come with more juicy updates as soon as I escape school and everything that comes with it! I hate whoever invented adulthood!

These past weeks has been black & white for me. Sometimes it's hard to tell when you have a good thing, because you're afraid of how the outcome might be. Afraid that you might loose it. Instead of holdning onto that good thing, I dwell and predict about what might happen. I guess we human beings have a tendency to make life more difficult than it is. It's like we need to pinpoint one bad thing and complain about it, when in reality everything is actually OK. what can I say? I guess I have to learn hold on to the good and not freak out! I'm 21 & an emotional wreck.

I don't want to be one of those who have to give up their life to learn how to live. When you finally have it all organized..It's just about over. Life (along w love) is ever seeking and never satisfied. My conlusion is life is a series of trying to make up your mind.

On the lighter side, sharing some [cute] picsies of this beautiful lady - Sandra. Bumped into her when I was at a retro/london-ish store. She's actually an art student and her style is just so unique. Sandra is a fresh of breath air in this city full of tall blondes.

Found these summerlicious crop tops and high-waist denim shorts. They're just perfect to wear for some upcoming festival events, picnic, a relaxing day on the beach or even for work out. If you're feeling like Alex Owens from Flashdance..then why not, coconut?

Some of you might think this outfit is too daring. This isn't something I'd wear on a daily basis. But I guess, experimenting with something you wouldn't normally do is a way to discover a new side of yourself. I should learn to take more risk or even rejection in social situations.

One of the biggest things that that holds many of us back is our fear of what people think. After all, you wouldn't want people to think you're a total freak do you? But wait think about the most lovable, magnetic people you came across in your life. Odds are, they weren't the meek, agreeable people who are reliably pleasant to be around. They were the people who were crazy and charming. So yeah, allow yourself to be less than perfect and you may find that people like you more for it. Do something you wouldn't normally do for fear of looking like an idiot. Be that idiot. You'll be fine.

Thought I want to share my newest fave store in Oslo. They carry brands such as Acne, Best Behavior, Cheap Monday, Colab & Illionaire to mention some. I like how "hidden" the store is. Finding this store is like finding a secret chocolate fabric. I love that it's away from all the continuous buzzing... Crowded shopping areas hurts my brain.

Was actually saving for a pair of grey Acne Pistols. But went for the Eighty Twenty Molly Grey instead. They only have one pair on every size, and it's the only store in Norway where they carry this NY based brand

Digital versus film photography has been debated since the 20th century when digital cameras were invented. I, myself bought my DSLR 4 years ago. I got it not because of all the hype but because I've always been interested in conceptual photography and photo journalism.

Though for a rookie like me, who couldn't wrap my head around the technical details of photography, went for the easy way/option. My choice was based on the prohibitive cost of film. A bunch of darkroom equipment would cost me an arm and a leg!

Now, in this world, where every Jane & Joe has a super camera, I'm playing with the thought of setting digital photography aside. Not retire but just explore a new venture. There's something personal about shooting with a film camera and not know how the initial result would be. Digital can sometimes be a distraction. I cant help but fiddle around looking at photos on the LCD after I take a shot and forget to enjoy the view and the outdoors

I'd say that film served us well for many many years, yet digital has too many advantages over it. I guess I'm just bothered greatly by technology taking the place of human talent. Is film photography dead? Ashes to ashes?

Definition

Conceptual photography: is a photography genre in which the artist makes a photography of a concept. It's usually hard to achieve this using a film camera because it involves editing to achieve the desired effects.

Photojournalism: present news material for publication/broadcast. the images usually tells a story. usually prefers to still images.

Hello dear readers, I'm posting some old photos (dateline feb 2010). Found this vintage fur jacket and wanted to show it to you. I know, the photos aren't that great. They're grainy and a bit dull. Plus, the weather wasn't cooperating that day. Strong wind almost knocked my camera over while it was on it's tripod. Maybe I can take better shots with it on some other time. Setting the timer, running back and forth, finding the right pose & looking effortlessly cute isn't that easy you know. Will invest a proper remote control soon.

Why the post title? I've been told that the whole furry look doesn't suit me (?!?). According to The Boy himself, It makes me look like one of those bedazzled hootchies strolling around the streets of Las Vegas. haha! All for laughs :))

Note: I'm looking for a cute hat that will suit my fine lil head. The bigger the better.

Feb 14 is an annual holiday celebrating love and affection between intimate companions. Traditionally, lovers express their love for each other presenting flowers, chocolates and sending greeting cards. Personally, I think its just another semi holiday just like Halloween. I think it has become such a cliche to prepare romantic events regarding this day. It's not about who gets the most expensive gifts or the most romantic dinner dates. I think it's important to notice the smallest things a couple do for each other. You don't need to be over the top to prove your love for each other.

And for those who aren't in a relationship, don't rush yourself. Enjoy being alone and being independent. Don't seek for love, love will find it's way to you. To those who have been burned by someone before, let go of the past. Put your guard down and let people break through that wall. Pain is a natural part of human existence. Since I just moved to my apartment a few months ago, I'm still decorating. I like my space to be neutral. A neutral space helps me to relax and be more focused. But I also wanted to balance the neutral feel with some cheerful, up-lifting, inspirational images on my wall. An inspirational wall should have images or quotes that reflects your personality. The last thing I want to do is to purchase one of those mass-produced posters from IKEA. My inspiration wall contains photographs from my previous trips (London, Paris, Barcelona etc) and some conceptual shots. I'm glad I was able to create something fun and inspirational with the photos I've taken...

My exam is in Tuesday and I've been revising like mad. Along the way, I've forgot that I'm trying to learn and understand things and get a good education. So a piece of advice to myself: Do not let yourself become an exam-passing locomotive. Ultimately, even if you like pieces of paper with "A" printed on them, that's not the object of the exercise. If you love a subject and you really like learning about it, that may be much more rewarding in the end.

I was debating with myself whether to post these photos or not.

I do respect myself and was afraid that others would think of me differently.

Nevertheless, I think all women, regardless of age, should be able to show their own body without people labeling them as "cheap".

There's nothing disgraceful about feeling comfortable in your own skin.

Its not ego, it's called confidence.

I might sound like a Hallmark card when I say this, but you must love yourself before you love another.

This is essential, because by accepting yourself and

fully being what you are, your simple presence can make others happy.

So if you're dealing with some issues or if you're feeling insecure, start appreciating yourself more.

Love yourself like a friend, have compassion for yourself, and above all recognize that the love has to come from you.

Remember that you are a truly loveable person - and that you deserve only kind treatment especially from yourself:)

Besides, emo isn't any particular fashion trend: it can be anything and nothing - its an atitude. I just came home from the premier of Michael Jackson's "This is it". The film consisted rare, behind-the-scenes look at the performers, that Michael himself developed, created and rehearsed for his sold-out comeback concert that would have taken place this summer. Through out the entire movie, I felt like I was watching his live performance. He is so creative, so brilliant, a pure genius! You can feel his aura, he is such a beautiful soul, so humble and generous.

We lost such a strong and world loving person. His style and music stood out for once.He was not afraid of being different. Michael you are my hero and you will be forever missed.

To sidetrack a lil bit: I was trying to hold back my tears, so instead, I munched away a huge size movie theater popcorn. Did you know that a large tub of movie theater popcorn packs in 76 fat grams? The equivalent of five full size Snickers bars..or more than six McDonald's cheeseburgers. Gross!
