He and I had something beautiful..

..but so dysfunctional it couldn't last.
You and I have something different and I'm enjoying it cautiously.

[Shout out to Elena Tzatziki & Sigurd Sveen for taking the photos ]

Note to live by: Have faith in yourself. This is the most important thing you will learn from breaking up. Work through your pain, cos you'll eventually understand that you are resilient and courageous enough to cope with change and challenges.
The French philosopher Jean de la Fontaine once said: "I bend but I do not break."
Now, I must away to find kleenex to dry my eyes.

IL Mare

Dhammapada

Hatreds never cease by hatreds in this world. By love alone they cease. This is an ancient Law (5)

A fool who thinks he is a fool is for that very reason a wise man. The fool who thinks that he is wise is called a fool indeed.

Not to do any evil, To cultivate good, To purify one's mind. This is the advice of the Buddhas.

Why the title IL Mare? It is a Korean movie that is about two people who lives two years apart in time, however they are able to communicate through a mysterious post box and they begin to form a friendship through their letters.
The plot might sound silly but this movie shows raw emotions that is hard to find in Hollywood movies. IL Mare is beautiful yet enigmatic and the cinematography is just brilliant. If you want to be swept up in a time-transcending love story that leaves you breathless, watch Il Mare.

[After watching this movie I realized that ending a relationship is not painful. It is painful when the love still continues even though the love has already ended.]

Make-up & Photographer/Model & Post processed: Yours truly.
I'm a one-man production :p

Some photos ended up looking like a hybrid between a spanish senorita and a geisha. The dress is vintage so is the belt and the bag. I'm trying to live an organic lifestyle and think green, so every time you buy or wear vintage clothing instead of newly manufactured clothing you are recycling.
This dress is getting a second chance and being saved from the landfill every timeI wear it :)

[sorry for being obnoxious with these self-worshipping photos..]
